2014 PR Grad Schemes

young-graduatesOver the years, it has become increasingly clear that if this blog is known for one thing, it’s the list of PR graduate schemes that I publish each November.

I’m proud to say that this is now the fifth consecutive year I’ve compiled the list and it’s always amazing to hear stories from graduates who have used SWT as a starting point to land a job and progress in their careers. It’s a fantastic feeling, and one that I never grow tired of. In fact, it led me to join Indeed – the world’s most comprehensive search engine for jobs, where our team have the privilege of helping people find jobs every single day.

Back to the list. At the moment, you’ll notice some of the agencies have yet to publish full details on the schemes they run, but based on previous years I fully expect that will change in the coming weeks. It nearly always does. You’ll also notice many of the agencies are London-based and part of an international network, which again is typical.

Crucially, the deadline for most of the schemes is around the start of the New Year and the best advice remains that you should get started now. The race for talent has already begun and remember that you won’t only be competing with fellow PR graduates, but people from a diverse range of backgrounds. So get cracking.

I’ll be updating this post when I can, but if you’re an agency or organisation with a scheme or need a change to be made to your listing, do get in touch.

Have Your Say
  1. Hi – thanks for posting my comment. Could you change your link to say 2014, not 2013, please? Many thanks.

  2. Hi – Are you able to advertise our 2014 graduate scheme?

  3. Lucy Laville says:

Hi Ben, we love this site at Leeds Met, now Leeds Beckett! I’m seeing final year students on Friday for induction to final year, so just wanted to see if you’ll be doing a 2015 list I can direct them to? Many thanks for all your great insights and helpful advice as always. Lucy

  4. Ben Cotton says:

    Hi Lucy,

Thanks for the kind words. I’ll most certainly be publishing the list of 2015 grad schemes on here. Most agencies start promoting their schemes in Nov/Dec, so expect to see a post go up around that time. I’ll let you guys know when it’s live.

    Thanks,

    Ben
