So, I’m Off to Chill!

Chill InsuranceAfter 2 ½ fantastic years, Thursday 16 August 2012 will be my last day at Edelman Digital.

I feel privileged to have worked in not one, but two Edelman offices and I’ll be sad to leave behind a tremendously talented group of colleagues, captivating projects and great clients. I’ve learnt so much, from so many people during the period, but I feel now is the right time to try something new.

Later this month I’ll be joining Chill Insurance as Digital & Social Media Marketing Manager. They are a young firm, full of ambition and a real success story in what is a challenging economy. In fact, they have doubled in size since 2010 and I’m excited to play my part in the next chapter of its tale.

My first couple of weeks will undoubtedly be spent listening, talking and reading, but I look forward to establishing the online strategy, governance and processes to reach, engage and monetize customers so Chill Insurance can continue its impressive upward trajectory. It’s a fantastic opportunity for me.

Two final things: Edelman’s Digital team really are going places. Its been great being a part of an industry leading agency and I’d recommend working for them.

Secondly, I’d also like to reiterate my thanks to Marshall Manson and Mark Cahalane who enabled me to stay within the Edelman network after crossing the Irish Sea back in March 2011.

There’s still lots of work to be done between now and the 16th, and whilst I’m sad to be leaving Edelman, I’m eager to begin my new role at Chill Insurance.
