My Objectives for 2014

SMART ObjectivesThe start of each year people often begin with the best of intentions and lofty ambitions. It offers people the perfect opportunity to look back at the previous 12 months, evaluate the good and the bad, and identify what you want to accomplish in the new year.

2013 will always have a fond place in my heart. I got engaged, joined Indeed, won a national award and completed a marathon – all in the space of four weeks. Suffice to say, all in all it was very memorable.

But there’s no point resting on my laurels. I’m busy planning and looking forward to what can be achieved in the coming year. Without further ado, here’s what I hope to achieve in 2014:

  • Gain a deeper understanding of Google AdWords: pass the Google AdWords Fundamentals exam

  • Obtain my driving licence

  • Get healthier: lose one stone

  • See more of the world: visit two new countries

These SMART objectives (of course) contain a nice mix of both professional and personal, and I look forward to revisiting these in 2014 and seeing how the year ahead unfolds.
